President's Message

September has been another busy month at the St. Andrews Chamber of Commerce as we approach our fiscal year end and continue to focus on supporting local businesses and keeping our members informed.

We added new resources to the Chamber’s online Resource Centre, including useful information and guidance on tariffs, trade and business resilience.

We’ve also been gathering valuable feedback from members through our short economic survey, helping us better understand business conditions and inform our future strategy, advocacy and marketing efforts. If you haven't yet done so, please take a few moments to complete the survey by clicking HERE.

As we head into October, we’ll continue building on this work by sharing practical resources, promoting local business and creating opportunities for members to connect and stay informed. Membership renewals are also due by the end of October. If you have not received your renwal invoice, please reach out to Jo.

We encourage members to keep an eye on the Chamber website and social media for upcoming events and other opportunities to get involved. Thank you to all our members for your continued participation and support.

Supporting Local

Keep the Local Love Going This Fall 🍂

Fall brings a change of pace to St. Andrews, but for many local businesses, it’s still business as usual. If your doors are open this fall, it’s a great time to remind residents and visitors that local businesses are here, ready to serve them.

One easy way to attract new customers and encourage repeat visits is through the free Chamber Perks app. Chamber members can offer a special discount, promotion or perk that gives customers another reason to choose local—and helps put your business in front of people looking for great local businesses to support.

Whether it’s 10% off, a free add-on, a seasonal special or another creative offer, your Chamber Perk can help turn a first-time visitor into a regular customer.

And don’t forget to spread the Support Local message. Encourage your customers, friends and neighbours to download the app, discover local businesses and take advantage of the perks available right here in St. Andrews.

If you’re open this fall, let’s make sure people know it—and give them another reason to shop, dine and do business locally.

👉 Add your Chamber Perk today and help keep local spending local!
