As our community continues to grow and evolve, the need for sustainable waste management practices has never been more important. This initiative represents a proactive and practical step toward reducing environmental impact while strengthening our local business ecosystem.

The Chamber remains impartial on the issue of short term rentals. We do not endorse any particular position but keep up to date on the group's activities to ensure our members remain aware of opportunities to participate in community discussions should they wish to do so.

The St Andrews Chamber participates in monthly All Chambers Meetings facilitated by The Atlantic Chamber of Commerce, which is the recognized voice of business in Atlantic Canada. Working with and serving more than 16,000 businesses through 91 chambers and boards of trade, The Atlantic Chamber works with industry and all levels of government to shape policy, strengthen competitiveness, and drive sustainable economic growth, ensuring business leads the future of our region.

The St Andrews Chamber can connect our members with WorkingNB workforce consultants who can assist employers of all sizes with recruitment & retention support, virtual recruitment events, HR tools and other workforce challenges.

Atlantic Canada's Prosperity Charter is a shared commitment to strengthen the connection between university talent and regional opportunity. It reflects the belief that Atlantic university students and graduates are essential to the region's ability to attract, retain, and grow the talent needed for workforce capacity, productivity, innovation, competitiveness, and long-term economic resilience.

Since 2025 St Andrews Chamber has been a signatory of the Reimagining Immigration Initiative, which seeks to create a new and more effective immigration system in Canada.

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce unites businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions — providing a powerful platform to shape economic policy, expand influence, and ensure all voices are heard where decisions are made.

Oversees the planning, co-ordination, promotion and delivery of Chamber events and education programs and evaluates success through feedback to facilitate professional connections and provide learning opportunities for members.

Oversees the Chamber Trade Coin program. Collaborates with Chamber Members and St Andrews residents to decide on the design to be featured on the coins, ensuring they align with the current aesthetics.

Oversees the management of the entire member experience, including recruiting new members, welcoming them, and keeping them engaged.

Chamber member business can now recycle their cardboard waste free of charge at 126 Reed Street. Hours of operation are 10:00am - 3:00pm
