Owners Dominic and Kate Bucca are both passionate about the transformative power of literature, the importance of representation in books, and encouraging a love of reading in people of all ages. Bucca dell’Acqua translates to “mouth of the water” in Sicilian dialect. Dominic has Sicilian heritage from both parents and since the company is located on Water Street, with a beautiful view of the bay, it seemed like a fun choice for a name
